We asked our digital community if they were aware of strike action taking place on the transport network earlier this month.

The ASLEF, RMT and TSSA unions have announced strikes which will affect services provided by National Rail train companies and Transport for London services on 1, 5 and 8 October.

Eurostar have advised that their phone lines will continue to remain closed during September as they are concerned that opening them at the end of August would mean that they would quickly become overwhelmed again by the numbers of passengers trying to contact them. 

Strikes across London will begin from Thursday 18 August with services affected on different modes until at least the morning of Sunday 21 August 2022

London TravelWatch today called for TfL to scrap changes to the night bus that would involve 1 in 5 night bus passengers having to change buses in the middle of the night, in some cases at a completely different bus stop.

Eurostar are closing their telephone lines during August whilst they try to catch up with their outstanding backlog of contacts. 

The RMT recently announced a strike which will affect services provided by 15 National Rail train companies on 21, 23 and 25 June and Transport for London services on 21 June.
