Strike action on the railway and at airports through the summer likely to be very disruptive.
After disruptive strike action on London Underground and national rail services this week, passenger watchdog London TravelWatch calls for an end to the disputes. More dates for strike action on trains are set for Saturday 18 and Thursday 30 March, as well as Saturday 1 April.
After prolonged disruption due to strike action over the festive period, passengers would have been hoping the new year would bring some reasons to be optimistic.
There will be strike action taking place this festive period.
There are strikes on Abellio bus services. On strike days, TfL will aim to run as many services as possible:
- Routes affected by the Abellio strike action are mostly in west and south London
- Other bus services are not affected by these strikes.

We asked our digital community if they were aware of strike action taking place on the transport network earlier this month.
The ASLEF, RMT and TSSA unions have announced strikes which will affect services provided by National Rail train companies and Transport for London services on 1, 5 and 8 October.
Strikes across London will begin from Thursday 18 August with services affected on different modes until at least the morning of Sunday 21 August 2022
The RMT recently announced a strike which will affect services provided by 15 National Rail train companies on 21, 23 and 25 June and Transport for London services on 21 June.
