Bus strikes affecting services operated by Abellio this December
There are strikes on Abellio bus services. On strike days, TfL will aim to run as many services as possible:
- Routes affected by the Abellio strike action are mostly in west and south London
- Other bus services are not affected by these strikes.
Strike dates
There are strikes on these dates:
- Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 December (Abellio)
- Thursday 8 December (Abellio)
- Friday 9 December (Abellio)
- Thursday 15 December (Abellio)
- Friday 16 December (Abellio)
Routes affected for each operator are listed below. Other services not affected by strikes will be busier than normal.
On the days after strikes, a good service will be running by approximately 06:00.
You are advised to plan ahead and check your travel.

Route 481 will operate but with fewer services on weekdays from 07:30-08:00, and from 15:00-16:00.
