Train travel this festive period (December 2022 and January 2023)
There will be strike action taking place this festive period.
Strike action will take place on:
- Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 December 2022
- Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December 2022
- From 18.00 hours on Christmas Eve (December 24) through to 05.59 hours December 27 2022
- Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 January 2023
- Friday 6 and Saturday 7 January 2023
National rail companies inform us that a very limited service will run on these days, with no trains at all on some routes. Services may also start up later on the days after strike action takes place.
We strongly advise passengers to check before they travel over the festive period, either with their train operator or at nationalrail.co.uk.
